The ELC aims to provide a caring, happy, secure and stimulating environment for children aged 3-5 from the surrounding areas of Banknock, Haggs, Loncroft and Coneypark.

 

ELC education is about the development of the whole child as an individual. It is our aim to develop happy, well-adjusted and confident children.

 

This is encouraged through free activity, allowing children to actively pursue their own interests, with the guidance and support of adults. This allows children to develop their language and listening skills, early numeracy skills, manipulative skills to develop small and large motor control and creative skills.  Children also learn how to work alongside other children and adults in a cooperative way.

 

Opening hours are as follows:

Monday – Friday 9.00am – 3.00pm (During Term Times)

 

Lunch is provided by the kitchen staff, and healthy snacks are prepared daily in the ELC.
